The usual hurricane preparations were told to the citizens of Mobile. What they could to prepare, objects to buy, routes to take, and evacuation centers opened. However, there appear no new movements from either the City, County, or State. Did they not learn anything from New Orleans?
How about the evacuation of Mobile Hospitals? What about the evacuation of the disable oir those not owning any means of evacuation? And what about the rasing of gasoline prices in the hours before an official Hurricane Warning being posted. How about those who could not afford to evacuate. The National Guard was alerted and remained at their home posts. If a storm hit Mobile, it could be days before they could arrive.
It appears that the City is waiting for disaster to happen before deciding on what should have been done.
