Hello everyone!
I promise I have not been ignoring my blog, we are just so busy here that by the time I get home I'm ready for bed!
I have to say out of all the rehearsals, oyster eating contest, prom, parade, more rehearsals museum trips ect... my favorite activity was the pj party with the tweens. I was coupled with Ellison who is four years old and adorable. We got our hair done and did each others make-up (yes I looked hot) and then went and got massages and painted each others nails. Girls night! Today was a great day because I got to see my sister at the Baybears baseball game! It was so nice to see a familiar face and talk to someone who knew how to say Nevada correctly. (just kidding) ha! But the pre-game AJM softball game was great. I got a few people out and hit twice getting on base both times. I even hit the runner in that won the game for the southern team! yay south (even though I am not from the south.)
Yesterday we moved to practicing at the civic center, which happens to be HUGE and FREEEEEZING. ahh. I had to wear a scarf around my neck all day because my voice is STILL gone! AHH! thoughts prayers and positive karma MUCH NEEDED. I sing on Friday so wish me luck with the whole getting my voice back before then adventure.
Other than that I am doing great. I feel so spoiled and lucky to be here. The people are great, the food is great and the program is great. I am definitely planning on promoting the program when I return to NV so that next year's JM can be more prepared than I am... yikes!
