Today was a wild day! We spent most of our time in sweat pants(thanks to the Mobile Kiwanis club for not judging us for our crubs :) ). In just 2 rehearsals, we learned out entire 8 minute opening number which will blow you all away! We all love the dance and had so much fun learning it. I can only speak for myself, but I can't wait to perform that on a stage with lights and an audience. Our choreographers are so talented. We're very lucky to have this incredible of a staff with us here in Mobile. Tonight, I am writing my journal entry and I'm having a hard time keeping it short. Even though we spent the majority of our time today in the same room, we got so much accomplished! Once rehearsal was over, we were hauled over to our luau and had a great time. I did feel kind of bad for the residents of the assisted living home we had our luau in because the music was a bit loud. When all of us girls went out to ask people to dance with us, many declined. I think we may have had just a little too much energy. Even better than dancing was just being able to sit down with different people from the South and get to hear about where they grew up. Everyone loves to talk about their childhood and what was convenient, was that all of us wanted to hear about it! The food display for the luau was gorgeous too. I accidently rested my hand on what I thought was just some kind of bar. When my hand was having a hard time gripping to this "bar," I realized it was actually lots of fruit. I'm pretty sure no one actually ate it though so it wasn't too bad. I'll be a little bit more careful about what I just slap my hand down on from here on out. Well I better get to bed. The next 2 days are going to be busy busy busy and our muscles are going to be grumpy. All for now!
