Hello everyone!!
Well Sam and I just got back from the Luau, which has probably been the most fun night so far!!! We dressed up (of course) and went to Gordon Oaks, a local retirement home, and ate dinner and danced the night away! We introduced them to the new generation of dancing -- Soulja Boy, 2 Step, Cupid Shuffle, etc., all of which they were pretty quick to catch on! Lauren from Louisiana and Misty from Nevada and I also learned a little something from the lady we danced with, ha. She was something else; we think she had a small crush on Darwin, to say the least :) . This, which I forgot to mention, was after a day PACKED with rehearsals, so we were definitely ready to let our hair down and have some fun! We ate a really nice lunch with the Kiwanis, and were introduced individually. Now we're finally winding down, and enjoying some seven layer dip (Sam hasn't tried this either!) and watching the girls dance. This has become routine in the Woods' household, and provides much needed laughter after our long days, ha. So, I'll get back to watching their newest jazz routine, and write again tomorrow!
