Today was our first full day at AJM, and it was so exciting! We started the day off, bright and early, at a breakfast with our host dads at Bellingrath Gardens. It was nice to
have 'bonding time' with our dads to get to know each other. After breakfast, we toured the beautiful gardens and enjoyed the sunny weather! Shortly after, we were taken to where we will be rehearsing this week. We had 'junior miss orientation' and then wardrobe check! We recieved our opening number outfits along with the fitness outfits! The opening number outfits are adorable! After wardrobe, we began our first rehearsal! I love our choreographers! They are extremely nice, and make us feel very comfortable! We only had time to learn a little of the opening number, which I cannot wait for everyone to see because it is super cute! Next, we put on our western attire and toured the USS Alabama battleship! The best part was line dancing at the end of the day! All of us girls had such a great time in our boots and cowboy hats! Our host families came to line dance with us, which made it ten times better! Today went by so fast, and I cannot wait for tomorrow! :)
