    Bluegrass State

    Hello Darwin,

I see that you are from Hazard, Kentucky, right down the road from me! I am from Salyersville. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you started at WYMT? I have a family member that works there now, Jim Caldwell (better known to us as Jimmy Neal). Also, Chris Bailey who was there before moving to WKYT is a very close friend of the family. I guess it really is a small world after all.

    See you soon,

    Alison!

I'm happy you noticed! I graduated from Knott County Central (next door to Magoffin County) and also attended the University of Kentucky. WYMT was actually my 3rd station. I first worked at WKYH-TV 57, the station that existed BEFORE WYMT! (before your time...) I then worked for WKYT in Lexington for several years until they recreated Channel 57 into today's WYMT. Following all of this?

I moved to Mobile 20years ago, just so I could be here when you and the other AJM reps arrived. I look forward to meeting you! See you soon.

    Darwin,

You sound like a very accomplished and well traveled man. My step-father graduated from Cordia, in Knott Co. and I went to KCC's prom last year! How funny :) It's great to know a fellow Wildcat will be around during my stay in Mobile.

Thanks for your involvement with AJM,

And just a quick added note... my step-brother will be a senior at KCC this fall.

    Re: Bluegrass State

My mother and father graduated from Cordia, and my sister taught school there! (I've been to many basketball games in that gym)

I'm a KCC graduate, too. (Class of.... uh... 19..... 76! You do the math!)

    See you soon-
