Hey!  I'd like to welcome everyone to my page!  I finally figured out how to put pictures up thanks to Matt at NBC 15 and many of the Junior Misses! :)  I hope everyone enjoys my album!  Thank you friends and family for all of your love and support!  I love you all!

Hi Kaileigh.

We are so excited to meet you in a couple of weeks. Until then, let us hear about your thoughts and emotions leading up to your journey to Mobile. You can use this blog to start meeting everyone or just to let everyone know what you are doing until time for AJM. While in Mobile, you can let family and friends back home and around the world what its like down south and at all of the events.

Wow... I can't believe I will be leaving for Mobile, Alabama two weeks from tomorrow! It doesn't seem possible!  I'm so excited and maybe just a tad bit nervous :)  I'm still attempting to figure out the picture album but I hope that you will enjoy my pictures once they are up!  My Junior Miss journey has already been an incredible one and I look forward to continuing my journey as I travel to America's Junior Miss! 

Junior Misses, if you are reading this, I absolutely cannot wait to meet you in two weeks!  You girls are the cream of the crop and I feel so very honored to be associated with you! 

Thank you to everyone who has helped me through my Junior Miss experience!  Sue, Ron, and Darcy, and Kathy thank you for all of your support!  I feel so blessed to know you all and to get to work with you!  Mom, dad, and Kolt, thank you for always loving me and supporting me no matter what.  Before I went to Oklahoma's Junior Miss, my mom told me something that her dad had told her before she traveled to Miami, Oklahoma for Oklahoma's Junior Miss 1979.  She said "Sissy, you have the same place at our table whether you win or lose."  Knowing I have that support from my family has made this so much fun! 

I will keep you updated as much as possible!  :)  Until next time....

Only one week! I am so excited and nervous all at the same time!  I've been working on my fitness routine!  Phew...it makes me tired! :)  I can't wait to meet my host family and roommate! I've had the opportunity to talk to them via Facebook and letters but I can't wait to get to talk to them in person!  I know they will forever be like family to me!  I did a show Friday night in Bartlesville at the Sunfest and my host mom and dad from state were there!  I truly feel like they are my second set of parents!  My roommate couldn't be there because she was in Texas but she sent her love!  Susan, Roy, Carrie, Catherine, Callie, and Christine, I know we are going to have such a wonderful time together and make so many great memories! :)

Please be praying for my brother.  Three weeks ago, he spent 10 days in the hospital.  We have to take him back today.  This is so hard on all of us because we hate to see him suffer but it is especially hard for him.  He can't do anything he wants to do and is in pain all of the time.  So if you would, just keep him in your prayers.  I would really appreciate it!

Well, I must say getting ready for AJM has been somewhat hard with Kolton being in the hospital.  Poor bubba.  I hate it for him!  I've had to practice my fitness routine in a little room just down from his room!  These doctors walked in and kind of gave me a funny look! haha. I haven't even started packing yet!  Oh goodness...

I'm so excited!  It seems surreal that I will be leaving in 5 days!  I need to start making a list of things to pack so I don't forget anything! lol. 

Thanks to everyone who has checked out my album!  I appreciate it!  Keep checking back!  I'll continue to upload pictures as the 2 weeks go on!

Hey Honey,

Dennis and I just want you to know how proud we are of you.  Your pics are beautiful but they don't really do you justice.   I wish I had been able to spend some time with you at Sunfest but Walmart was calling.  I was happy to see that you were drinking your water though.  Make sure your host Mom in Mobile stays on top of that OK.  I will be in NY during the pagent but you will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I'm still not sure on Dennis, I know he really wanted to be there for you, so you never know.   All I can say is just be yourself and let the beautiful angel that you are come shining through and you'll knock 'em dead.  Always remember that we are just a phone call away.

Give our best to your family and tell Kolten we're praying for him.

I have known Kaileigh for the past 3 years and have enjoyed watching her grow up and continue to be a blessing to many who hear her perform at Church through her wide range of musical talents including singing and playing fiddle.  She recently was the co-playwright for the Youth Group Hee-Haw at 1st Baptist Church of Muskogee and was also featured in it.  She did an awesome job!  She has also performed twice for our Annual Volunteer Awards Banquet and all of our staff and volunteers that have heard her sing and perform love her!  Besides her outstanding musical abilities, she has a very kind and sweet spirit!  Kaileigh - you will soar! :)
