    EBAY ITEM

WE BOUGHT A COMMERCIAL TYPE ICE MACHINE OFF EBAY AROUND THE FIRST OF FEBRUARY.  WE CONTACTED THE MAN THAT HAD THE MACHINE BEFORE WE BOUGHT IT AND HE SAID IT WAS A GOOD MACHINE THAT WORKED.  WE SENT HIM A MONEY ORDER, MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE IT SHIPPED.  GOT THE MACHINE AND IT WOULD NOT MAKE ICE.  WE CALLED HIM, HE TOLD US TO SHIP IT BACK TO HIM COD.  BEFORE WE SENT IT BACK, WE CALLED AIR SPECIALITIES AND THEY CAME AND LOOKED AT IT AND TOLD US THAT IT WOULD COST A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS TO HAVE IT FIXED.  WE SENT IT BACK, NOW HE WILL NOT SEND US OUR MONEY.  I HAVE REPORTED HIM TO EBAY, BUT DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME WAS.  WHERE DO WE GO FROM NOW?  HE WILL NOT ANSWER OUR CALLS OR OUR E-MAILS.

    Re: EBAY ITEM

Since no one has answered you yet, I will tell you about my experience with eBay and something like that. I bought two seperate items from two dealers. One was a Motorola Bluetooth headset, the other was a Motorola stereo bluetooth headphone. Both turned out to be fake. I went to Motorolas webiste and found a pdf file that showed how to tell. I then contacted Motorola and sent them links to the pics of my products. They said they were fake and that "Buyer Beware". I contacted eBay and PayPal(whom I used to pay through) and reported the items. The first dealer fessed up and sent me money back immediately. Motorola later contacted me and said thanks, they knew about him and his schemes and that the Justice Dept. were proceeding with a case against him. The other dealer said he sold it in good faith and they were genuine. eBay said I had to provide proof that they were fake, that I had to find someone to put it in writing that they were fake. Also they gave one week to do it. I had contacted them weeks before. No one around this area would do it. They all recognized it as fake and saw that they did not match the photo on the dealers page( a screenshot of a genuine product) but could not do anything about it. Needless to say time ran out and eBay sent me an email saying they were sorry that I had a bad experience and more or less too bad. The dealer kept on selling fakes for several months afterwards but eBay would not do anything about it. From what others have said and done I would recommend going and filing in small claims court against him. eBay is out for money and do not care how they get it.
