My husband passed away about 1 1/2 years ago and the estate did not go through probate. i was told it did not need to since everything was willed to me. i have had everything transferred into my name ( cars, bank accounts, etc.) except the deed to our home. Recently, I was told it could not be transferred into my nama because the estate did not go through probate. I wondered what is required to have it changed into my name and which county office I need to contact. Thank you.
